Returns, Faults and Cancellation Policy

At IMB, we want you to love your sim racing gear and apparel as much as we love making it. We put real care into every stitch, seam and detail so your products perform well, feel great and last. If something is not right, we want to sort it fairly and quickly.

1. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, mis-described or develops a manufacturing fault, please contact us at hello@imb.store as soon as possible with your order number, a short description of the issue and clear photos where possible.

If the issue is confirmed, we will put things right in line with your legal rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy.

This is separate from your statutory rights under consumer law, which are not affected by this policy.

2. 60 day IMB warranty

When you buy from our official website, your item is covered by our 60 day IMB warranty from the date of delivery for defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

This warranty covers manufacturing faults such as issues with stitching, materials, print, finish or construction that affect normal performance or expected use.

This warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear
  • accidental damage
  • misuse, neglect or improper care
  • damage caused by alterations or repairs not carried out or approved by us
  • issues caused by incorrect sizing chosen by the customer, unless the product was supplied incorrectly by us

The 60 day warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.

3. Custom and personalised items

Many of our products are made to order and some are custom made or personalised to your specifications.

Because of this, custom or personalised items cannot be cancelled or returned for a change of mind once production has started. This includes items made to your chosen design, colours, names, logos, sizing choices or other personalised requirements.

If your custom item is faulty, damaged or not made in line with the agreed order, please contact us and we will review it in line with your legal rights and this policy.

4. Non custom items and change of mind returns

If you buy a non custom item as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must tell us within that 14 day period by emailing hello@imb.store with your order details and a clear statement that you want to cancel.

Once you have told us you want to cancel, you must send the item back to us within 14 days.

Returned non custom items should be unused and in their original packaging where reasonably possible. However, you may inspect the item as you would in a shop. We may reduce your refund if the item has been handled more than necessary and this reduces its value.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, the cost of return shipping is your responsibility.

5. Refunds

If your return is approved, we will refund you to your original payment method.

For cancelled non custom orders, we will refund the purchase price and the basic standard delivery charge originally paid, if applicable. We do not refund any upgraded or express delivery charge unless required by law.

We will usually process eligible refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned item back, or within 14 days of you providing evidence that it has been sent back, whichever is earlier where applicable.

6. Items that cannot be returned for a change of mind

We do not accept change of mind returns for:

  • custom made items
  • personalised items
  • items made to your specification
  • any item returned in a condition that makes it unsuitable for resale, where this goes beyond reasonable inspection

This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will apply from the date they are published on our website and will not affect rights that have already arisen under an order placed before the update.
